Great interest in Montenegro as a business travel destination at Barcelona fair

At the event, the Montenegro Convention Bureau, which is part of the NTO, is promoting the destination’s rich and diverse tourism products for all types of business travel.
Director of the Montenegro Convention Bureau Aleksandra Maksimovic said that by participating in this prestigious fair, Montenegro continues to build the image of a modern, dynamic, and attractive destination for business travel and events, one that inspires and leaves a strong impression on event organizers from around the world.
“The development of this type of tourism is especially important for our country, as it contributes to extending the tourist season, increasing revenue, and positioning Montenegro as a high-quality, year-round destination,” said Maksimovic.
She added that special recognition was awarded to the Montenegro Convention Bureau within the NTO in Barcelona this year for its outstanding contribution to the International Congress and Convention Association (ICCA).
During the fair, representatives of the Montenegro Convention Bureau held more than 40 meetings with event organizers from around the world, who recognize Montenegro as an inspiring destination for business events, corporate travel, and incentive trips. Special interest came from partners in Germany, the United Kingdom, France, Poland, Italy, and Norway, as well as from the Middle East, Colombia, South Africa, Argentina, India, Indonesia, the United States, and Brazil.
