Podgorica, (MINA) - Montenegro is resolutely advancing in its EU integration process, determined to become the 28th EU member by 2028, said Deputy Prime Minister for Foreign and European Affairs Filip Ivanovic.
In a post on the X social network, he stated that Montenegro is closing negotiation chapters and implementing reforms in order to meet the goal of becoming the 28th EU member by 2028.
Ivanovic stressed that, with a strong investment momentum, new projects and strong support from the EU institutions, as evidenced by the clear messages of the President of the European Commission, Ursula von der Leyen, the vision of Montenegro as a prosperous state for all its citizens and the next EU member is becoming more and more certain.
