Podgorica, (MINA) – Citizens of Montenegro, of all state institutions, have most trust in the Army of Montenegro (VCG), according to the annual survey conducted by the EU regional public opinion monitoring platform WeBalkans.

According to the Ministry of Defense (MOD), the survey showed that 63.3 percent of citizens trust the VCG.

“The Army’s high level of public trust has been significantly strengthened by its commitment to the third mission, providing support to the civilian population, through numerous activities aimed to help citizens”, says the MOD in the press release. 

They added that they would continue to improve the defense system, knowing that the trust of the citizens is the biggest obligation and the strongest confirmation of the work accomplished so far.
