The number of vehicles that are transported over the gorge of Verige by car-ferry has decreased in the last five months for about 5-6%, states the Marine Transport from Herceg Novi. The director of this company, Ilija Balic, said that during this period of time, 10,000 vehicles less than planned was transported. "Marine Transport from Kamenare realizes the daily traffic of 1,400 vehicles, which is for 400 less than planned," said Balic. He added that financial plan was nonetheless fulfilled thanks to the increased traffic of freight vehicles, about 80 a day.
