Podgorica, (MINA-BUSINESS) – According to preliminary statistics released by Monstat, the investments in fixed assets made last year in Montenegro amounted to €998 million, up 8.6 percent year on year.

Last year, 92.1 percent of the total investments were made in the new fixes assets.

They were followed by the investments the intellectual property, with 4.9 percent, and the investments in used fixed assets, with three percent.

“The share of construction works in the total investments was 49.6 percent,” states a press release from the Statistical Office.

According to Monstat, the investments in equipment and other investments accounted for 43.9 percent and 6.5 percent of the total investments respectively.
