Podgorica, (MINA-BUSINESS) – The number of active connections for the distribution of audiovisual media (AVM) content to end users via various platforms stood at 267,000 in April, 0.4 percent more compared to March.

According to a report by the Agency for Electronic Communications and Postal Services (EKIP), the number of users was 0.22 percent higher compared to last year’s corresponding period.

Of the total number, there were 115.100 cable distribution (CDS) connections, 96,990 IPTV connections, 48,480 direct-to-home (DTH) connections, and 6,430 DVB-T2 connections.

In percentage terms, the CDS platform accounted for 43.11 percent, IPTV for 36.32 percent, DTH for 18.16 percent, while DVB-T2 accounted for 2.41 percent.

Of the total number of active connections for the distribution of AVM content to end users, 94.59 percent were residential users, while 5.41 percent were business users.
