Podgorica, (MINA) – Continued support from the Italian Parliament is extremely important for Montenegro, especially in the final phase of the EU accession process, said Parliament Speaker Andrija Mandic.

According to the Parliament’s press release, Mandic met on Thursday with the delegation of the Committee on European Affairs of the Italian Parliament.

“Welcoming the guests, Mandic pointed out that the continued support from his colleagues from the Italian Parliament is extremely important for Montenegro, especially in the final phase of the EU accession process”, the press release said.

The head of the delegation and chair of the Committee on European Affairs of the Italian Parliament, Alessandro Giglio Vigna, pointed out that for Italy, and certainly for the rest of Europe, the results achieved by the 28th Convocation of Montenegro’s Parliament are clearly visible.
