Podgorica, (MINA-BUSINESS) - According to preliminary statistics released by Monstat, there were 189,450 tourist arrivals in the collective accommodation in Montenegro and 687,020 overnight stays in September.

“Out of the total number of nights spent in the collective accommodation, foreign tourists accounted for 91.5 percent and domestic ones for 8.5 percent,” says a press release issued by Monstat.

In September, 89.7 percent of the total number of nights was spent in the coastal region, 5.6 percent in the Capital City, 2.9 percent in the mountain regions, and 1.8 percent in other tourist destinations in Montenegro.

Collective accommodation does not include the individual, so-called private accommodation in houses, rooms and apartments.
