Average bill amounts to €32.21 in October

Podgorica, (MINA-BUSINESS) – Excluding the unaccounted for facilities that are not permanently inhabited, the average electricity bill amounted to €32.21 in October.

 

Elektroprivreda (EPCG) stated in a press release that the lowest average consumption of €24.65 was registered in Mojkovac, while the highest average consumption in October was recorded in Niksic, where the households consumed €37.44 worth of electricity on average.

 

According to the power company, the bills lower than €30 were received by as 64.1 percent of the consumers, while the bills of 16.97 percent of consumers ranged between €30 and €50.

 

EPCG stated that 14.81 percent of consumers would pay between €50 and €100, while the electricity bills of 4.12 percent of consumers were higher than €100 in October.

 

A total of 157,1600 consumers or 38 percent of the total number of Montenegrin households will benefit from a 38 percent discount on active energy, while 49,930 consumers, or 12.24 percent, received a 21.5 percent discount on active energy.

 

The electricity consumption by households reached 117.42 million kWh in October.
