Podgorica, (MINA-BUSINESS) – The Central Bank of Montenegro (CBCG) has announced the CBCG Green Award for the best paper on the impact of climate change on the financial system.
“All Montenegrin citizens holding a higher education degree of at least Level VI, or 180 ECTS credits, from a university, faculty, or higher education institution in Montenegro or abroad are eligible to apply,” the Ministry of Ecology, Sustainable Development and Northern Region Development said on its website.
Submitted papers should meet the criteria of innovation and provide a theoretical and empirical contribution to promoting best practices for central banks and other financial system regulators and supervisors in addressing climate change challenges and their impact on financial stability.
The Green Award is presented on the occasion of 20 September, Ecological State Day, and submissions must be filed by 14 August.
“The author of the best paper will receive a certificate and a cash prize of €3,000,” the Ministry said.
