Commitment reaffirmed to uphold the highest European standards

Podgorica, (MINA-BUSINESS) – By participating in the Gaming Regulators European Forum (GREF) conference held in Sofia, Montenegro’s Games of Chance Administration reaffirmed its commitment to implementing the highest European standards in the regulation and supervision of the games of chance market.

The delegation of the Games of Chance Administration, comprising Director Spasoje Papic and Dusan Kandic of the Supervision and Risk Analysis Department, participated in GREF’s annual conference, which was held from Monday to Wednesday.

“GREF represents the most important European network of gambling regulatory authorities and currently brings together 41 members from 35 European jurisdictions,” the Administration said in a press release.

During the conference, the Montenegrin delegation held numerous bilateral meetings and exchanged experiences with leading European regulators, further confirming the commitment of the Games of Chance Administration to strengthening international cooperation and implementing modern European regulatory standards.

This year’s conference addressed the most pressing regulatory challenges, focusing on responsible gambling operations, anti-money laundering and counter-terrorist financing measures, player protection, emerging technologies, and efforts to combat the illegal gambling market, which remains a major challenge for European regulators.
