Podgorica, (MINA-BUSINESS) – Minister of Finance Novica Vukovic will participate in the Annual Meeting of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) in Riga, one of the world’s most important forums dedicated to economic development, investment, and reform.

During the plenary session and a series of bilateral meetings, Vukovic will present Montenegro’s reform progress, development priorities, and the country’s clear European ambition to become the next member of the European Union by 2028.

“By participating in this high-level international event, Montenegro reaffirms its position as an active and credible partner in discussions on economic policies, investment flows, and reform processes that shape the European and global economic agenda,” the Ministry of Finance stated in a press release.

At a conference bringing together key decision-makers from more than 70 countries, Vukovic will hold a number of bilateral meetings with senior EBRD officials, as well as representatives of other international financial institutions and Montenegro’s investment partners.

“The discussions will focus on strengthening economic governance, supporting reforms, accelerating investment projects, and further developing cooperation with the EBRD in the fields of infrastructure, energy, and the green transition,” the press release reads.
