Podgorica, (MINA-BUSINESS) – The Parliamentary Committee on Economy, Finance, and the Budget has decided to hold a control hearing with the Ministers of Finance and Tourism, Novica Vukovic and Simonida Kordic, to assess the impact of the tourist season on the state budget.

The exact date for the control hearing, focusing on the impact of the effects of the tourist season on Montenegro’s budget of and the economic growth projected in the Fiscal Strategy for 2024–2027, will be set later.

The hearing was initiated by MPs Nikola Milovic, Nikola Rakocevic, and Mihailo Andjusic of the Democratic Party of Socialists (DPS), Boris Mugosa of the Social Democrats (SD), and Milos Konatar of the United Reform Action (URA).
