Podgorica, (MINA) - Democratic People’s Party (DNP) leader Milan Knezevic will convene a session of the party’s Presidency following the New Year holidays to propose leaving the government of Milojko Spajic and the Podgorica local government.

The DNP announced that the action of more than 500 police officers against peaceful citizens of Botun, who were only defending the right to health, was “one of the darkest moments in Montenegrin history”.

“Arresting minors, the elderly, the president of the Municipality of Zeta, is the final stage of degeneration of those who are supposed to represent the people, but have already surpassed their predecessors, and for that they will be held criminally responsible”, the DNP said in a press release.

The DNP told everyone who praised “yesterday’s disgraceful action” that their conscience is not clean, and that they have assumed corrupt obligations which they will continue to expose in the coming months.
