Podgorica, (MINA) – Young Serbian politicians are assuming responsibility at both local and national levels and are making a key contribution to Montenegro becoming the next member of the European Union, said Parliament Speaker Andrija Mandic.

According to the Parliament’s press release, Mandic hosted a working breakfast with the European Commissioner for Enlargement Marta Kos, attended by representatives of the Parliament, the Government, the University of Montenegro, local governments and business community.

Mandic pointed out that he is especially pleased to have the opportunity to meet representatives of numerous municipalities and institutions from all regions of Montenegro.

“He added that young Serbian politicians are today assuming responsibility at both local and national levels and are making a key contribution to Montenegro becoming the next member of the EU and a country of free, happy and prosperous people”, the press release said.
