Podgorica, (MINA) – Around 500 divers, students, volunteers, representatives of institutions, civil society and local communities took part in a seabed cleanup in the Bay of Kotor, Prime Minister Milojko Spajic said.

Spajic said that this largest seabed cleanup ever held in the Bay of Kotor was organized with the support of the EU Delegation in Montenegro and EU Commissioner for Enlargement Marta Kos.

“The Bay of Kotor is part of the proposed Natura 2000 network. It is home to protected habitats and natural monuments of inestimable value, and their preservation is a shared obligation of all of us”, Spajic wrote on the X social network.
