Podgorica, (MINA) – Resolving oustanding issues is important for the long-term improvement of relations between Croatia and Montenegro, said Croatian Prime Minister Andrej Plenkovic following the meeting with his Montenegrin counterpart Milojko Spajic in Tivat.
Plenkovic posted on the X social network that he and Spajic discussed Montenegro’s EU accession path, economic cooperation between the two countries and the EU enlargement policy.
As Plenkovic pointed out, resolving outstanding issues is important for the long-term improvement of relations between Croatia and Montenegro.
“We are focusing on compensation for prisoners of war, locating missing persons, prosecution of war crimes, the return of confiscated property to the Croatian minority in Montenegro and the training ship Jadran, the final solution to the maritime border dispute and the permanent preservation of the memorial plaque in Morinj”, Plenkovic said.
