Budva, (MINA-BUSINESS) – A regional dialogue titled “Women Leading: Economy, Alliances and the Future of Integration” will begin tomorrow at the Splendid Hotel in Budva.

The two-day event is organized by the Ministry of European Affairs and the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP).

“The regional dialogue will bring together high-level representatives of Western Balkan governments, European Union institutions, international organizations, experts from the region and Europe, as well as representatives of the private sector, civil society, academia and the media,” the Ministry said in a press release.

The purpose of the event is to encourage strategic dialogue on the role of women in economic development, strengthening regional cooperation and the process of European integration, with a particular focus on improving women’s economic empowerment, increasing political accountability for gender equality, and developing regional alliances and networks of women leaders.

The event will feature opening remarks, panel discussions and thematic sessions.
