Podgorica, (MINA-BUSINESS) – The purchase of all surplus milk from domestic producers will begin on Monday, announced Prime Minister Milojko Spajic, adding that a solution to the farmers’ problem has been reached.

“The acute problem of our farmers has been resolved. Starting Monday, the purchase of all surplus milk will begin,” Spajic posted on X.

He said that an agreement had been reached with retail chains, ensuring continuity of purchases and security for producers.

“The agreement with retail chains guarantees security for producers and the uninterrupted continuation of purchases,” Spajic said.

He also announced additional measures to stabilize the market, which will also affect prices for citizens.
