Podgorica, (MINA-BUSINESS) – Through the activities of the Turkish Cooperation and Coordination Agency (TİKA) in Montenegro, numerous projects have been carried out across all parts of the country, thereby fostering overall social and economic cooperation, said the President of the Bosniak Council, Suljo Mustafic.

At a meeting held at the Council’s office in Podgorica, Mustafic thanked TİKA coordinator Nihal Ersoy for the projects being implemented in Montenegro.

“Through TİKA’s activities in Montenegro, numerous projects have been implemented in the fields of culture, education, healthcare, social welfare, and the economy, throughout all regions of Montenegro. Through such engagement, you contribute to strengthening ties and bringing the citizens of Montenegro and Turkiye closer together, thereby encouraging overall social and economic cooperation,” Mustafic said.

He particularly thanked Ersoy for TİKA’s assistance in equipping the offices of the Bosniak Council in Podgorica.

Ersoy emphasized that the Bosniak Council is an important contributor to the country’s social and cultural environment and that TİKA is open to all forms of strengthening cooperation with the institution.

The need for further institutional strengthening of the Bosniak Council, as well as for bringing together creative individuals and consolidating resources around joint projects, such as the planned establishment and construction of a Bosniak Cultural Centre in Podgorica was highlighted at the meeting.
