Podgorica, (MINA-BUSINESS) – The first cycle of activities focusing on the topic “Financial Literacy – A Path to a More Secure Future,” conducted by the Youth Education Centre (COE) with the support of the Central Bank of Montenegro (CBCG), has been successfully completed.
“Through workshops, a podcast series, and an online course, young people of high school and university age learn how to develop financial literacy and gain insight into the functioning of important financial institutions,” COE stated in a press release reads.
The great interest and participation of young people confirmed the importance of this topic for their future.
“Within the first cycle of activities, four workshops were held in secondary schools in Herceg Novi, Pljevlja, Bijelo Polje, and Niksic during April and May,” the press release states.
The workshops were facilitated by CBCG experts, who taught students about practical aspects of managing personal finances, innovations in banking, digital risks, and the safe use of digital finance.
