Podgorica, (MINA-BUSINESS) – According to the Central Bank (CBCG), a total of €67 million have been paid to depositors of Atlas Bank and €20.5 million to those of Invest Bank Montenegro until 30 June, resulting in high compensation rates of 74.2 percent and 91.4 percent, respectively. 

It was concluded at a meeting between the CBCG Governor Irena Radovic and Director of the Deposit Protection Fund Vojin Vlahovic that these figures further confirmed the functionality and reliability of Montenegro’s deposit protection system.

The meeting covered current topics within the Fund’s remit, including the stability of the deposit protection system, and the results achieved by the Fund in the previous period.

Radovic expressed her satisfaction with the quality and substantive cooperation between the two institutions, stating that joint efforts contributed to preserving confidence in Montenegro’s financial system. 

Vlahovic thanked the CBCG for its continued support and open cooperation, saying that institutional synergy is a key prerequisite for a strong and reliable banking sector.
