H1 budget revenues stable 

Podgorica, (MINA-BUSINESS) – According to the Ministry of Finance, mid-year budget revenues demonstrate stability, growth in key tax categories, and a lower-than-planned deficit,

 

The Ministry stated in a press release that the Government continued to meet all its financial obligations on time.

 

Total state budget revenues amounted to €1.32 billion in the first six months, which accounts for 97.3 percent of the planned amount and is 1 percent more than in the same period last year.

 

“This result was achieved despite lower inflows from donations, which are expected later in the year,” the Ministry noted.


They specified that key tax categories are on the rise. Corporate income tax revenues reached €210.1 million, 9.9 percent more than last year and 5.9 percent more than planned.

 

“Personal income tax revenues increased by 23.3 percent year on year to €46.6 million in total. VAT revenues amounted to €602.1 million, which is €66.1 million or 12.3 percent more than last year,” the press release states.
