Podgorica, (MINA-BUSINESS) – Gross customs revenues collected from January to June amounted to approximately €675.9 million, which is €25.7 million, or 4 percent, more compared with the same period last year.

“This exceeded the revenue target for the January–June period by €5 million,” the Customs Administration said in a press release. 

In terms of the structure of collected revenue, growth was recorded across all types of duties.

The largest increase was recorded from value-added tax (VAT) on imports, which generated €455.34 million.

According to the press release, this is an increase of €19.2 million, or 4 percent, compared with the previous year.
