Podgorica, (MINA) – As a responsible and credible NATO member, Montenegro guarantees a safe, secure and pleasant stay to all its guests, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MFA) announced.

The statement came after the Security Information Agency (BIA) of Serbia announced that they had advised President Aleksandar Vucic not to travel to Montenegro for the EU-Western Balkans Summit due to high security risks.

The MFA stated that throughout its history, Montenegro has been recognized as a hospitable country, which sincerely welcomes every well-intentioned guest.

“Ahead of the Summit in Tivat, we will do everything to welcome our friends, allies and partners at the highest level and to ensure that this important international event is hosted successfully and with dignity”, the press release said.

It is stated that as a responsible and credible NATO member, Montenegro guarantees a safe, secure and pleasant stay for all its guests.
