Podgorica, (MINA-BUSINESS) – At the end of September, there were 195,740 landline connections in Montenegro, 0.9 percent more than the month before.

According to the Agency for Electronic Communications and Postal Service (EKIP), of the total number of landline subscribers, Crnogorski Telekom had 99,990, M:tel 75,990, Telemach 16,970, One 2,780, and Orion Telekom fifteen.

The fixed telephony market share of Crnogorski Telekom was 51.08 percent, while the respective shares of M:tel, Telemach and One were 38.82 percent, 8.67 percent and 1.42 percent.

Compared with last year’s corresponding period, the number of landline users increased by 2.85 percent in September.

Of the total number of landline connections, 84.84 percent was used by citizens, while 15.16 percent was used by companies.
