Podgorica presents its 2028 Youth Capital candidacy in Brussels

Podgorica, (MINA) – The Capital City delegation presented in Brussels on Wednesday Podgorica’s candidacy for the European 2028 Youth Capital, while the decision will be announced on November 28.
The Capital City stated that, in addition to Podgorica, Leeuwarden, Paralimni, Pernik and Chisinau are also the finalists for the European 2028 Youth Capital.
Podgorica’s candidacy was officially presented to the international jury by Podgorica Mayor Sasa Mujovic and Secretary General of the Youth Network of Montenegro, Vladimir Perazic.
“This candidacy is another proof that the Capital City truly cares about young people and is quickly positioning itself on the European map of cities that implement innovative and inclusive policies for the youth”, the press release said.
In a press release issued following the candidacy presentation, Mujovic said that they had a difficult task ahead of them.
According to him, their goal is to, through this candidacy, make Podgorica a better place for young people to live and give young people more meaningful opportunities.
