Podgorica, (MINA-BUSINESS) – According to an analysis by PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC), one of the world’s largest and most reputable audit and consulting firms, The Ocean Race Europe 2025 has generated a total economic impact of €31.2 million on Montenegro’s economy. 

The Ministry of Maritime Affairs stated in a press release that the largest contribution was recorded in the accommodation and hospitality sector and trade, while significant effects were also achieved in transport and warehousing, as well as real estate.

Minister of Maritime Affairs Filip Radulovic said that additional economic contributions were made through financial, agricultural, professional, and administrative activities.

“The results confirm that the Ocean Race had a strong multiplier effect on the Montenegrin economy and significantly contributed to Montenegro’s international visibility as a destination for major sports and nautical events,” Radulovic said.
