Ranko Radulovic extradited to Montenegro

 

Podgorica, (MINA) – Ranko Radulovic (64) from Niksic, who was arrested in Belgrade at the end of March, was extradited to Montenegro on Thursday, the Police Administration announced.

It is stated that the extradition was carried out by officers of NCB Interpol Podgorica, with the support of the Special Police Unit.

“R.R. is considered one of the leaders of a cell belonging to a high-risk criminal group from Montenegro. NCB Interpol Podgorica issued an international warrant for his arrest in order to serve a prison sentence of two years and three months, to which he was sentenced for the criminal offense of assaulting a police officer while performing his duties”, the press release says.

It is further added that a separate warrant has been issued for Radulovic to serve the remainder of a three-month sentence for the crime of endangering security.

“In line with the orders of the High Podgorica Court, R.R. is wanted to ensure his presence in the criminal proceedings that are being conducted due to well-founded suspicion that he committed the criminal offences of creating a criminal organization, aggravated murder by incitement, embezzlement and rape”, the police stated.
