Podgorica, (MINA-BUSINESS) – Montenegro applies strict standards in the field of air transport and is a reliable partner to the European and international aviation community, Director of the Civil Aviation Agency (CAA) Ivan Scekic said on the occasion of International Civil Aviation Day, which is observed today.

“Through the consistent application of regulations and regulatory competencies, strengthening staff with aviation experience, and especially by reinforcing control mechanisms, the Agency reaffirms its role in preserving and improving the national aviation system,” said Scekic, an air transport engineer by training

According to a press release from the CAA, he said that progress is achieved in partnership with the aviation industry and relevant institutions at the state and international level.

Scekic congratulated all those working in civil aviation, saying that 7 December date also serves as a reminder of the importance of cooperation for the development and sustainable future of aviation, in the service of all citizens.
