Belgrade, (MINA) – Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic has confirmed that he will travel to Montenegro later on Thursday to attend the EU-Western Balkans Summit, stressing that it is important to represent Serbia at that event, despite the warning from the Security and Information Agency (BIA) that his life is in danger.
“I have received a letter and I have read it. I am going to Montenegro, it is very important that I represent Serbia”, said Vucic during a press conference with European Council President Antonio Costa.
Asked about the reasons for his decision, he said that he gave his word to Costa and European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen.
“I will go there and I will say everything I have got to say to their faces about various games where Serbia is portrayed as little Russia, while they are portrayed as suffering Baltic states, always threatened by us. I will be speaking about that over there, since I am not afraid of telling the truth”, Vucic said.
