Podgorica, (MINA-BUSINESS) – According to the President of Montenegro, Jakov Milatovic, Plav stands as a symbol of coexistence, community strength, and the beauty of diversity. 

He believes the local administration, alongside its focus on tourism, will continue the strategic development of infrastructure, strengthen agricultural production, and boost other economic sectors to create a sustainable and promising economic future for Plav.

“It is time for every young person to see opportunity in Plav, not a reason to leave. It is time to transform natural beauty into economic strength, and unity into the foundation for development,” Milatovic stated in his message on the occasion of Plav Municipality Day.

Milatovic noted that, standing at the crossroads of cultures and religions, under the shadow of the Mount Prokletije and Lake Plav, this municipality proves that diversity enriches rather than divides.

“Now that Montenegro must move forward quickly, Plav is leading the way. The dedication and responsible work of its local community are building a better everyday life and setting an example for us all on how to care for our homes and heritage,” he said.

 
He concluded by expressing his wish for Plav to continue growing and developing as an example of joint efforts toward Montenegro’s prosperity.
