Podgorica, (MINA-BUSINESS) – Parliament has adopted amendments to this year’s Budget Law, which are described by the Government as technical in nature and not expected to affect the overall budget outcome.
The revised budget passed with the support of 50 MPs. The amendments were introduced to ensure technical alignment following the adoption and implementation of the new Regulation on the Organization and Functioning of Public Administration.
According to the proposed amendments, revenues totalling €4.03 billion are allocated as follows: €1.5 billion to the current budget, €1.3 billion to state funds, €280 million to the capital budget, €43 million to the budget reserve, and €890 million to financing transactions.
Compared to the original law, the total budget increased by just €7, due to the need to create new budget lines for accurate expenditure tracking.
Within the budget structure, the current budget was increased by €409,000, while the same amount was deducted from the current reserve. The capital budget, state fund allocations, and financing transactions remain unchanged.
As previously stated, the projected revenues, total expenditures, and the deficit remain essentially unchanged by these amendments.
