Podgorica, (MINA-BUSINESS) – Alcazar Energy Partners, a company developing the Bijela Wind Park project, remains open to dialogue with the residents of the village Gornja Brezna, its representatives said, adding that they believe that responsible project development is built through open communication.
Marko Radulovic, General Manager of Alcazar Energy for Montenegro, stated that they fully respected every resident’s right to express their opinion and that their approach was not based on a single meeting but on long-term dialogue.
“We believe that responsible project development is built on open communication, based on respect, transparency, and facts. We will continue to encourage dialogue, without pressure and without giving up on our sincere intention,” Radulovic said.
Representatives of Alcazar Energy Partners organized a voluntary public meeting today with residents of the Pluzine Municipality, including the village of Gornja Brezna.
The meeting offered an opportunity to present updates on the project, but the attending did not agree, explaining they had not been adequately informed about the public consultation and therefore refused to participate.
Radulovic expressed regret that the company was not given the opportunity to present new information regarding the planned project.
“We are sorry we did not have the chance today to share information about the Bijela Wind Park project and to present all the measures carefully developed in response to the concerns previously raised by the local community,” Radulovic said.
The company stated in a press release that the Bijela Wind Farm was an infrastructure project of strategic importance for Montenegro, contributing to the country’s energy independence and green transition.
