Dubai, (MINA-BUSINESS) – Emaar, the company owned by Mohamed Alabbar, who plans to invest in Montenegro, is driving the transformation of Dubai and Abu Dhabi from endless desert into two of the world’s most prestigious business hubs.
Dubai and Abu Dhabi have become places where luxury knows no bounds, with a name that has written modern Middle Eastern history standing at the centre of this transformation – Mohamed Alabbar and his company, Emaar.
Established in 1997, Emaar operates in 18 countries, runs 90 hotels, 17 shopping malls, and more than 50 local retail outlets, with tourist complexes located along 28 kilometres of refined beaches. Emaar has built over 15 schools and develops 2,000 social housing units annually, as well as numerous lush natural parks for recreation.
All the projects the company has undertaken since its establishment have made Dubai a globally recognized business and tourist destination.
Emaar representative Shamis AlShamsi stated that the company’s total investment over 30 years amounted to $125 trillion.
“The development itself and the impact it created in terms of jobs during the building of all these master plans, all those construction workers and other employees, shaped today’s Dubai,” El Shamsi told Montenegrin journalists during their visit to the United Arab Emirates (UAE).
According to him, the company operates across different master plans throughout Dubai and the UAE, and wherever Emaar develops a new area, surrounding neighbourhoods also experience growth.
