Podgorica, (MINA-BUSINESS) – According to the Chamber of Commerce (PKCG), the visit of Montenegrin business representatives to the United States is an important opportunity to strengthen business ties, promote Montenegro’s investment potential, and establish new connections with the American business community.
On the second day of its working visit to New York City, the Chamber organized a visit for the Montenegrin business delegation to Industry City in Brooklyn, where they were welcomed by Randy Peers, President of the Brooklyn Chamber of Commerce.
“The meeting focused on opportunities to strengthen business cooperation, facilitate the exchange of knowledge and expertise, and explore potential new business partnerships,” the PKCG said in a press release.
Members of the delegation had the opportunity to learn about Brooklyn’s development journey, which in a relatively short period underwent significant economic and social transformation – from an area experiencing population decline to one of New York’s most dynamic business and innovation hubs.
In an open discussion, the delegation presented the strengths of Montenegro’s economy and the interests of the companies participating in the visit.
During the tour of Industry City, the delegation learned about the transformation of a former industrial complex into a modern business hub that now hosts hundreds of companies across a wide range of sectors, from manufacturing and processing to technology, creative industries, and services.
