Podgorica, (MINA-BUSINESS) – According to Monteput, 1.56 million motor vehicles have used the Princess Ksenija motorway since the beginning of the year.

The motorway was used by 2.87 million motor vehicles last year, 2.29 million in 2023, and 1.14 million vehicles in 2022.

The priority section of the Bar-Boljare motorway had been formally opened in mid-July 2022, and was toll-free in the first seven days.

The toll currently amounts to €1.50 for motorcycles, €3.50 for cars, and €17 for lorries and coaches.

The first motorway section is 41.5 kilometres long and has 20 bridges and 16 tunnels.

It has four exits with tollbooths for Smokovac, Pelev Brijeg, Verusa, and Matesevo.

Speed limit is 100 kilometres per hour.
