Budva, (MINA-BUSINESS) – Member of the Management Board of Morsko Dobro Vidak Mitrovic has resigned from this position.

“This decision is solely a personal and moral act. I am making it so that my name is not used for daily political purposes, nor associated with Morsko Dobro,” Mitrovic stated in a press release.

He added that the recent events attracting public attention were in no way connected to his political affiliation or the work of the institution, which he deeply respected.

“I am resigning out of the belief that preserving personal dignity is more important than holding any position. My appointment was never a priority, and my goal has always been to act honourably and responsibly,” Mitrovic said.

Mitrovic was involved in an incident on Friday, when his brother, Jovo Mitrovic, physically assaulted the Mayor of Budva, Nikola Jovanovic, causing him serious injuries.
