Podgorica, (MINA-BUSINESS) – The Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Water Management has launched a public call for applications for financial incentives to support cooperative activities and associations in the fisheries sector.
The Ministry said the public call sets out the procedures, conditions, and eligibility criteria for obtaining grants.
“Only non-governmental organizations, associations, producer organizations, and cooperatives established by registered fishermen and aquaculture producers are eligible to apply under this public call,” the call reads.
A total of €40,000 is available from the budget under this call.
Grant support will cover up to 70 percent of the value of the approved annual work and activity plan, with a maximum grant of €10,000 per beneficiary.
“If the total value of all approved projects exceeds the annual budget allocation, the amount of support will be reduced proportionally for all applicants," the Ministry said.
The grants will be disbursed upon completion of the investment, following administrative verification and on-site inspection.
