Podgorica, (MINA-BUSINESS) – The Tax Administration (PU) collected €884.3 million in gross tax revenues during the first six months of the year, €54.3 million more than in the same period last year.

The Tax Administration stated in a press release that a stable collection trend was recorded across several tax categories. 

“With regard to value added tax (VAT), a total of €247 million was collected between 1 January and 30 June, €3.3 million more compared with the same period last year,” the press release reads. 

Revenues from the corporate income tax amounted to €217 million, which is €6 million, or 3 percent, higher than in last year's corresponding period.

“Social security contribution revenues increased by €23 million, or 12 percent, compared with the same period in 2025, confirming the continuation of positive trends in this area,” the tax authority said. 

Overall tax revenue collection results indicate the continued effectiveness of revenue administration and the preservation of public finance stability, supported by ongoing monitoring of economic developments and continuous improvements in tax administration processes.
