Podgorica, (MINA-BUSINESS) – According to Elektroprivreda (EPCG), works on the Gvozd wind farm are progressing according to the planned schedule, with full technical and operational synergy among all parties involved.

EPCG’s Executive Director Ivan Bulatovic visited the Gvozd wind farm construction site today, where EPCG representatives and contractors reviewed the progress of the works and expressed satisfaction with the current pace of the project.

EPCG in a press release stated that the Gvozd wind farm marked one of the key steps toward green energy transition and increased energy independence for Montenegro.

“We are pleased with the progress on this strategically important project for Montenegro’s energy system. The Gvozd wind farm is a significant step towards sustainable development, and we will do everything to complete it within the planned deadlines, in line with the highest standards. I hope that we will have the first kilowatt-hours generated from Gvozd by the end of this year,” Bulatovic said.

EPCG thanked citizens for their patience and understanding during the construction works, which may temporarily affect traffic and local transport.

“Additional efforts have been made to minimize any disruptions, fully respecting the local community and environmental protection,” the press release concluded.
