Podgorica, (MINA-BUSINESS) – According to the Capital City, a new public call offering support for women’s entrepreneurship will be launched in September.

The Public Relations Service of the Capital City stated in a press release that the Monitoring Commission, together with Deputy Mayor Nadja Ljiljanic, conducted its first field visit today, meeting with female entrepreneurs who received financial support last year through the women’s entrepreneurship development program.

“Last year, the Capital City provided a total of €70,000 in financial support to 20 women entrepreneurs through a public call,” the press release reads.

The purpose of the visit was to assess how the funds were used and to learn about the beneficiaries’ plans for future business development.

“At the same time, the goal of the Capital City and the Secretariat for Entrepreneurship and Investments is to identify and help overcome potential challenges faced by women entrepreneurs,” the press release stated.
