Podgorica, (MINA-BUSINESS) – The State Audit Institution (DRI) has launched a public call for proposals and selection of audit topics for next year’s Annual Audit Plan.
As part of this process, DRI is organizing consultations with representatives of civil society, the academic community, and professional associations to collect proposals for audit subjects and topics during the risk assessment phase.
One of the five key criteria in the annual audit planning process, outlined in the Guidelines for Proposing and Selecting Financial and Compliance Audits, is the assessment of policies and risks. This step ensures the selection of audit topics that best reflect public interest, potential risk, and opportunities to create added value.
“In order to conduct a timely assessment of policies and risks during the proposal phase for the next Annual Audit Plan, we invite all interested representatives of civil society, academia, and professional associations to submit their topic proposals and suggestions via email to [email protected] by 15 September,” DRI stated in a press release.
Following the collection of feedback, consultations or a roundtable will be organized as part of the audit planning process for DRI’s Annual Audit Plan.
