Podgorica, (MINA-BUSINESS) – According to preliminary statistics released by Monstat, Montenegro saw 195,640 tourist arrivals in collective accommodation in June, which resulted in 735,670 overnight stays.

“Of the total number of nights spent in the collective accommodation, foreign tourists accounted for 89 percent and domestic ones for 11 percent,” states a press release from Monstat. 

In June, 91.8 percent of the total number of nights was spent in the coastal region, 4.6 percent in the Capital City, two percent in mountain regions, and 1.6 percent in other destinations.

Collective accommodation does not include the individual, so-called private accommodation in houses, rooms and apartments.

It includes hotels, resorts, inns, motels, holiday centres, hostels, and camps.
