30-day detention for Jovanovic attack suspect

Podgorica, (MINA) – The investigating judge of the Basic Court in Kotor has ordered up to 30 days prosecutorial detention for Jovo Mitrovic, suspected of physically attacking Budva Municipality President Nikola Jovanovic on Friday.
This was confirmed to Vijesti by the Basic Court spokesperson Judge Veljko Bulatovic.
Bulatovic said that both Vidak and Milorad Mitrovic were questioned by the investigation judge, and that a restrain order was issued against them in relation to Jovanović.
The Basic State Prosecutor’s Office (ODT) in Kotor previously announced that the acting prosecutor, following the hearing, ordered the detention of J.M. and suggested that he be remanded in custody due to reasonable suspicion that he committed the criminal offense of grievous bodily harm against Jovanovic.
