Podgorica, (MINA-BUSINESS) – There were 24,750 unemployed people in Montenegro at the end of May, 3.2 percent fewer than in April.

According to the Employment Office, the unemployment rate stood at 8.49 percent. In the same period last year, it was 9.91 percent.

Since the beginning of this year, the Employment Office advertised a total of 11,710 vacancies.

Due to technical circumstances arising from the implementation of the new information system of the Tax Administration, data on the number of newly employed persons are not available.
