German Embassy donates more than EUR 12,000 to OKC

 

Podgorica, (MINA) – The German Embassy in Montenegro has donated more than EUR 12,000 to the Operations and Communication Center (OKC) to help improve its services, the Ministry of Internal Affairs (MUP) announced.

 

According to the MUP’s press release, the handover was attended by Director of the Rescue and Protection Directorate Miodrag Besovic, as well as Ambassador Peter Felten and Consul at the German Embassy in Montenegro, Franziska Haase.

 

“The funds have been used to equip and improve the functionality of the OKC 112 workspace, adapt of its premises, as well as create a better and more pleasant working environment for the employees who work every day to receive and process emergency calls from citizens”, the press release says.

 

Felten, as stated, expressed his deepest appreciation for the commitment of OKC employees, who often save lives, as well as for their exceptional dedication to work.
