Podgorica, (MINA) – Through their professional and responsible engagement, members of the Montenegrin Armed Forces (VCG) made significant contribution to the successful organization of the EU-Western Balkans Summit and further confirmed the reputation of the Montenegrin Armed Froces as a reliable and capable institution, said Defense Minister Dragan Krapovic.

Krapovic and Deputy Prime Minister for Security, Defense, Fight against Crime and Internal Affairs Aleksa Becic visited the VCG members who participated in securing the Summit held in Tivat last week.

Krapovic thanked the members of the Armed Forces for their professional and responsible execution of all assigned tasks, emphasizing that their engagement played an important role in the successful organization of the Summit and further confirmed the reputation of the VCG as a reliable and capable institution.

He emphasized that from June 3 to 6, more than 100 members of the VCG were engaged in supporting the Police Administration, with assistance of specialized vehicles, vessels and helicopters.

Becic thanked the members of the Armed Forces, emphasizing that they were one of the pillars of the successful organization of the EU-Western Balkans Summit.
