Podgorica, (MINA) – The Administrative Court’s ruling, annulling the decision on Gordana Radojevic’s dismissal from the position of director of the Statistics Directorate, was expected, said her attorney Milos Vukcevic, adding that he expects the executive power to finally make a lawful decision.
Vukcevic recalled that the Administrative Court had already annulled the previous decision to terminate Radojevic’s mandate.
“After that, the Government made an identical decision, citing the same reasons, so it was completely natural to expect the Administrative Court to annul this decision too”, Vukcevic told the MINA News Agency.
He assessed that it was a deliberate action – to remove Radojevic from her position as director of the Statistics Directorate in 2021.
“The Administrative Court annulled the Government’s decision for the second time, so I expect the Government to pass a lawful decision now”, said Vukcevic.
When asked if there is a legal deadline for the Government to make a new decision and whether he believes that Radojevic will be reinstated, he said that the Government is obliged to make a new decision based on the law within 30 days of receiving the ruling.
Vukcevic said that the Government, as the executive power, is obliged to respect the rulings of the Administrative Court.
“I expect that the Government will now finally pass a lawful decision. One of the possibilities, of course, is Radojevic’s reinstatement. It is certainly up to the Government, but it is obligated to act according to the ruling of the Administrative Court”, said Vukcevic.
