Podgorica, (MINA-BUSINESS) – According to Deputy Prime Minister for Economic Policy and Minister of Economic Development Nik Gjeloshaj, adoption of the Law on the Credit Guarantee Fund, opens up new opportunities for the Montenegrin business sector, marking a strategic step towards creating a favourable business environment.

He stated that these new opportunities are especially opening up for small and medium-sized enterprises, which form the backbone of further growth and development of the Montenegrin economy.

“Montenegro has taken another important step towards strengthening its economic resilience and supporting the private sector,” Gjeloshaj added.

He explained that this law specifically allowed for greater availability of financial resources for starting and improving businesses, reducing financial barriers and sharing risks with banks, strengthening domestic competitiveness, creating new jobs, and supporting young entrepreneurs, beginners, and women in business.

“The Law on the Credit Guarantee Fund offers a new chance for faster and safer development of the Montenegrin economy, creating more favourable conditions for business and long-term economic stability,” Gjeloshaj concluded.
